Prof. Denis Lee will be remembered for not only his work at the University of Michigan but for all the contemporary oil paintings  that displayed his humor and love of the female form.  His work explores portraiture, narrative and expressive realism in fine art.  He also loved animals and sea life as indicated in his oil paintings.
